What to Wear

 

You booked a session! Yay! Now what? We need to start thinking about what we are going to wear. Clothing can sometimes make or break a session. You want to find perfectly coordinated outfits for your session, but you are not really sure where to start. I would start with one outfit that you really love and pull colors from that outfit to coordinate the rest of your family. Think layers, pops of color and texture! If you need help, I would love help by giving you suggestions, ideas, or shop with you!

   Q | Can we change outifits at the session?

   A | Clothing changes are allowed as long as your child tolerates them. Your child will          decide how long their session will last.

 

The Session

 

Sessions can take place either at the studio, your home, or a location. Depending on what package you have choosen, we can do multiple locations.

 

For family and children sessions, don't worry if kids arent in their best behavior or isn't doing the perfect smile. I'm here to capture their personalities. And I have children too, so I have seen it all!  I like to make the session very relaxed and fun. I love interacting and playing with children to capture those genuine smiles and expressions. Tell your children they are coming to play and take pictures! We always go at the child’s pace taking breaks for snacks and drinks as necessary.

 

For outdoor locations, sessions are usually best held in the morning or evenings when the light is best.

   Q | What if my child gets sick the day of the session?

   A | We have all been there… perfectly healthy children and the day of an important            event, they turn up sick! No worries, just call and I am happy to reschedule your                 session.

 

   Q | What if it looks like rain in the forecast?

   A | If a looming thunderstorm threatens to ruin our session, I will notify you a day or        two before your session to reschedule.

 

   Q | Should we bring anything to the session?

   A | I recommend bringing a non-messy snack and drink for your child. Other than that,    just bring your happy selves!

 

   Q | What happens next?

   A | I go through your session images and pick the very best images to tell your families    love story. Each image is then professionally edited to ensure beautiful skin tones              and beautiful color. My style of processing creates timeless images that will look                good in your home for years to come.
